How do I put a vehicle in my company stock?
First, enter the registration number in the search bar at the top of the ‘vehicles’ page. This will take you to the vehicle file, where you can select ‘De-register (ORV)’ under the ‘purchase’ heading. Here you can add the relevant vehicle to your business stock.
How can I complete a transaction (e.g. EAD Customs Document or VKR) with a vehicle that does not (yet) have a Dutch registration number?
On the “Vehicles” page, you can search for a vehicle using the white search bar. This can be done by licence plate or chassis number. If the vehicle cannot be found, you can create a vehicle file manually using the “Create file manually” or “Add vehicle manually” button. Once the vehicle file has been created, you can immediately carry out transactions with that vehicle.
When creating the vehicle file, fill in as much information about the vehicle as possible to build a complete file. If the vehicle is later registered, we will link the chassis number to that registration number and the vehicle file will be complete.
Why do I always have to look for a vehicle first when I'm looking for a service?
What is a vehicle file?
The vehicle file is the heart of My VWE. Here you'll find all the details of a vehicle. From all the technical data to documents collected during transactions on the vehicle. Furthermore, from here you can undertake all actions with the vehicle, such as RFL (exempting), deregistering the MOT (periodic inspection) and insuring it.
