MijnVWE

What is a vehicle file?

The vehicle file is the heart of My VWE. Here you'll find all the details of a vehicle. From all the technical data to documents collected during transactions on the vehicle. Furthermore, from here you can undertake all actions with the vehicle, such as RFL (exempting), deregistering the MOT (periodic inspection) and insuring it.

Hoe kan ik mijn transacties inzien?

On the ‘My Business’ dashboard, you'll find the ‘Transactions’ button. This will take you to a list of all transactions: the Transaction Overview. Using the filter function on the right-hand side, you can search, for example, by a specific licence plate or period.

I want to register as a customer. How do I do that?

This can be done via this page. In the registration form, you can specify exactly which services you wish to use.

How do you calculate VAT on the resale of a used motor vehicle by a business?

When selling both new and used motor vehicles, BPM is considered a continuous item for VAT purposes. Therefore, VAT is never calculated on BPM. To determine the amount of VAT to be charged on the sale of a used motor vehicle by a business, the remaining BPM (residual BPM) must be extracted from the selling price.

This residual BPM is calculated by subtracting the depreciation percentage of the BPM that belongs to the used motor vehicle from the original BPM paid, taken from the depreciation table (with a maximum of 90%). The remaining part of the BPM may be deducted from the reimbursement for the calculation of the VAT due. If the residual BPM is higher than the selling price of the used motor vehicle, no VAT will be levied.

How can VWE help me to get a clear overview of the number of MOTs that have been carried out?

It's often difficult to find the time to review the number of MOTs after a busy day. VWE can help with this! When you deregister an MOT through VWE, we include MOT Statistics. You will then receive a monthly overview in table and graph format of the number of MOTs per inspector. Both at a high level (a monthly overview of the current and previous year) and at a detailed level (rejection percentage per inspector), you can maintain an overview to manage workshop performance.

You can find these statistics on My VWE under the Statistics dashboard.
